I absolutely love this book once I started reading I just couldn’t put it down. The book is creepy and sinister but extremely interesting and the storyline was well written and executed perfectly.
The characters and character development was well thought out and I was able to follow the characters through the storyline.
I also really liked the title of the book, it’s spooky. The cover of the boom is simple and well executed to attract attention which it certainly does.
This is one of my favourite genres to read and this book is definitely high on my list of favourites.

The author did an excellent job keeping the storyline exciting. This was the first novel I have read which was written by David Fennell but I’ll definitely be looking out for move of his books.
