Honestly, this is book is very interesting. It's well - written, and the serial killer is quite unique in their style of murder that I haven't seen in other books. It will be interesting to see how this "art form" of his will develop as the story progresses. I only read up to page 13, but I can already get an instant feel of the direction this story is gonna go. The zooming in on different characters thoughts is also something I quite like about this book.
I think it will be exciting to see how the detective and serial killer play out this game of cat and mouse. The character's having an unusual dynamic (in a good way!) I haven't read actually any of David Fennell's books before, but he definitely is an author I want to know more about. His style of writing, especially in this book the Art of Death, is captivating and flows really well. The use of descriptive language too is interesting to read.
