I purchased the Mayfly having seen it while looking back through past Readers First books that I'd missed.
I throughly enjoyed it and thought it was a perfect mix of crime, thriller and disturbing storyline.
Comparable with Rowling's Robert Galbraith Strike series but I preferred James Hazel's book far more. This is definitely a series I would love to see the BBC pick up.
I read the Mayfly in a couple of sittings and was very excited when I saw Hazel's newest Priest novel. As someone who detests dolls the cover is suitably scary and no doubt there will be some thrilling plot twists and disturbing elements.
I can't wait to see what trouble Charlie Priest has (innocently) got himself into and, most importantly, how he gets out of it.
