After the rather creepy opening, the following chapters indicate that this will be very much a lawyer-based story but, with the author's background, there is already a feeling of authenticity about it. It was a fast-moving introduction which engaged me and I imagine that, as the story progresses, I would feel increasingly engaged with the cast of characters. My only slight reservation is that this is the second book in a series - but the writing gives me confidence that this shouldn't be a problem!
