I think that the title is interesting enough to captivate any reader’s attention and so is the cover.
The writing style flowed very well. The chapter were nice and short making ‘The Bastille Spy’ fast paced and action - packed. The writing was also so descriptive, that it felt as if I was in the book. But an excess of description was not given, which left some things to the reader’s imagine. That I appreciate.
I loved the fact that the characters were very developed. Each character had a backstory to their life. None of the characters had a bland or insipid personality. And at the end, it was obvious that the main character had mentally and emotionally developed and changed.
The amount of research done for this book is absolutely tremendous. I learned a lot.
