Firstly the cover is eye-catching, and one I would certainly pick up if I were in a bookshop. I like how the author slowly builds the suspense, the mystery of the red sand and the dead flies. The narration by Natasha is very open especially when she's viewing her mother. Would certainly like to see how this pans out.
