In the introduction to this book, Natasha Rothwell is relating how her therapist is helping her make sense of strange and dramatic events which occurred in her life thirty years ago.
As a fifteen year old girl, a psychic, rumoured to be a ‘half-witch’ , Natasha lives in a seaside town with her bohemian mother. As her senses and confidence grow, she wants people to hear her-she has a warning that something bad is going to happen in the town.
She , with others, start to see blue lights on ‘The Ridge’. Some of the braver teenagers want to investigate and tragedy strikes as one goes missing.
The characters in this book are rich, the mother , a lodger who stays for the summer to write. Natasha has two friends, Marcus and Lewis, opposites but dear to her, we see how they are woven into the story.
This is a beautiful read, allowing for some slightly drawn out chapters 4/5 for me.
