This book spoke to me from the second I picked it up. It truly, truly, does take the reader on a wonderful journey, I of course can not give too much away, but what I can say is this: if you are looking for an easy read with a complex plot, this book is perfect for you!
I too, at first glance, was worried about this book being a typical teenage- romance based novel, and to be frank- I never have really connected with a book that was in the same genre as this. It is so much more than that- yes, there are aspects of that genre and yes, it is a classic teen- romance but it is also about following a young person on her journey through strengths and how her actions benefit others.
The way the author wrote as well as presented this book is nothing short of perfection; the cover is gorgeous and the plot is empowering- my personal favourite part was surrounding fortune tellers- no spoilers here!
Overall it is a genuinely enjoyable and empowering book- definitely recommended.
