I have not received this book yet, however, I am very excited to read 'The Blind light'.
I always found the 1950s a fascinating era, with its music and fashion, so I am very excited to learn more about it.
The Cold War is somehow kind of overlooked when the Second World War - as well as the First one- were much more deadly and destructive than the Cold War ever was. A lot of books focus more on the Second World War, because of its tragedy and terrible conditions people lived in, so I am very curious interested in a story set during the Cold War.
I love how the book explores love, war and politics ( the 'Big Three') altogether, and I think it does it really well- based on what I have read.
The cover of 'The Blind Light' appears to really appeal to the story, and I like how they used the high contrast of the colour yellow with the black-and-white of the background image. I think it is really interesting and a hint to the story,
