Feels like it's gonna be life-affirming

Talk about starting off with a (sad) bang! This got right to it. Although, I don't think there's any good way to be told you've got breast cancer or any cancer in general. Oddly for me, Keira hasn't immediately started out as a character I like. A bit judgmental (which we all are to some extent), but she likes to phrase it that she's above her mother-in-law, but that always kinda gets me like, eh, but are you really after all? Her life is perfect, her friends are there for her, etc. I wonder how she will develop with the diagnosis and if she will be more empathetic to those around her.
