Keira, a successful business woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. She finds it very difficult to know how to deal with it. She doesn’t want to tell anyone, even her family, give up work or give in to the disease. This book tells her story where a chance meeting gets her running with others going through the same treatment. Pushing herself to places she never imagined Keira discovers strength and purpose she never thought she had.
This is a nicely written book that kept me wanting to read yet another chapter. The characters were well drawn and believable. The plot had some interesting unexpected twists and turns. I can recommend this book to any readers of this genre and I think it could also have a wider audience. The subject matter did make me wonder if I would enjoy it but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was after all quite an uplifting read.
