I am so impressed with this book! The subject matter is so serious and emotional, yet the book was a pleasure to read and ended up being so heartwarming.

Keira is a successful business owner, wife and mother of two. She really does seem to 'have it all'. Then she's diagnosed with breast cancer, and everything she has worked for starts to feel like it's slipping away... Enter the running club mentioned in the title, a group of women who are all going through (or have been through) cancer too.

I loved reading about this wonderful group of characters - they are without doubt the sort of women you would hope to have around you if you felt like your world was falling apart! I felt like the friendships that Keira made in the group felt very natural and real, growing over time until she had a real support network surrounding her, which was just lovely.

The book doesn't shy away from showing the harsh realities of cancer treatment, and for that reason it could be very triggering for some people. However, if you feel you're in the right headspace, I would absolutely say to give this one a go as it's such an uplifting and life affirming read.
