I have read this authors books since I was younger and wanted to read this one. This was an emotional and heartbreaking read yet uplifting at the same time. This is definitely a life affirming read for 2021 and would recommend everyone read it such an inspiring read and yet frank account of going through breast cancer and how friendship and through strength and determination the main character Keira came out the other side and draws on the authors own experiences of breast cancer. It also illustrates how through the power of running the women in the story found strength in each other to try and carry on and became United in a fight to try and beat this terrible disease and to do things which ordinarily Might have been put of their comfort zones and how they not only found friendship in each other but found peace within themselves and a strength to carry on.
