I was gripped reading this book, it was so heart breaking and I really felt for the character with all the emotional changes that she was going through, such a brave woman, then to find out that even though this is a fictional book that the author had actually put her experiences into it and it makes you feel sympathy and admiration for the author, I am so glad that I read this book, it took me a while to start as I was being tested for breast cancer myself just before this book was released and found it hard to pick it up, I was told that I did not have breast cancer and after a couple of weeks, picked up this book and started reading, it made me realise how resilient women are and it gives me such appreciation for the NHS and how hard they work even without a pandemic at the moment; I am so grateful to Josie Lloyd for putting pen to paper and sharing her story, and I wish her all the luck in the world.
