When I picked this book up, I thought it would be any normal ‘chick lit’ story, where there are a group of friends and the main character finds a partner and chaos ensues, i was ready for an ‘easy’ read.
I agree with previous reviews that the characters journey and progression of her character would have flowed nicer if the diagnosis came at the end of the first few chapters. But the book really sucks you in.
The book is a really great read and it did develop my understaning of cancer, and how it affects battlers personally.
I have had family who have suffered and I was always removed from
Their experiences.
It showed me there was a positive even in dark times and always something there to keep your spirits up!
The characters were like my friends. I loved them.
I adored the storry, the journey and the characters so much. It was an ‘easy’ read. But by no means ‘shallow’
