Wow! This is the first time i'm coming across a book with this concept- of prisoners being held in the homes of who they've hurt, and it is certainly a creative idea, and there are plenty of ways this story could unfold. That said, i am extremely intrigued to read on and discover how Hannah interacts with the prisoner, and how their relationship continues. The style of writing is great, and it grips you instantly with the first line which is great. Hannah's character seems interesting and the snippets of her husband are lovely, which makes me want to know their story, and how exactly he was killed. And of course, i want to know more about the prisoner! I really like the cover, you can tell from it instantly which genre this book is going to be, which is good. The dark colours and bold writing are common in thriller books, and definitely works here. Overall, excited to read more!
