Initially I struggled to get into the book or understand the first few pages. However when the explanations started things fell into place like a jigsaw and I quickly became invested in the characters and the plot!
I’m not a fan of unrealistic books and I must admit I thought this may fall into that category but actually the more I read, the more intrigued I became. So much so that I quickly read through the pages eager to find out more.
The book reads very well and easily (for me personally only after the explanations fell into place) which enabled me to picture the story as it went on.
I’d recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in criminals, as it shows the justice system in an ulterior set up which makes you question what things would be like if we were to adopt a similar process in the real world.
So to summarise, this book was not the crime thriller/drama I assumed (don’t judge a book by it’s cover and all that) but I really got into it and enjoyed it.
