One of the best books I’ve read
This book was easily one of the best books I’ve read in a long time - and I’ve read many books this year! I read this book in under 48 hours as once I’d picked it up, I found it increasingly difficult to put down.
Although this book had a lot of mystery and channels within the plot, it was easy to follow and all came together to the finale at the end of the book. I thought I had figured out the end by a few chapters in but this changed many times and I was completely wrong the whole time - without revealing any spoilers.
The characters were brilliantly complex and well developed throughout the book. In addition to this, the plot was unlike one I had ever come across before. It proposed the question of rehabilitation within justice which could easily lead to discussion in the future.
Ultimately, I would recommend this book to any reader: whether they are avid readers or not. Brilliantly written and executed. It is a tribute to the author.
