From the opening metaphor about the week days being like a kaleidoscope I was hooked. I can’t wait to read more of this book.
The vibrant colours of the cover drew really intrigued me to this book and I don’t think I will be disappointed by reading it all. Every family has a secret of some kind, and this book really explores that theme but through the eyes of a child and her experiences in the situation that occurred some years ago. I am very interested to read more and see how the relationship between the girl and her father develops as she uncovers more and more of the secret with regards to her mother. A mysetery set in the confines of a family unit.
The language is relatively straight forward and fast to read!
