I really liked that the book started off by getting straight to the point. Although the main plot of the story focuses n Saffron's discovering about her mother, you get a sense of the relationship that is inevitably going to blossom between Saffron and Tom.
The characters are very relatable to todays teens/young adults. Saffron's character depicts typical teen angst and vulnerability. Tom on the other hand, has an air of mystery to him in that he appears when he is most needed, with his laid back and cheeky presence.
The writing style is easy to follow and allows you to fully lose yourself in the story so much so, I tried to keep scrolling without realising I'd ran out of pages!
