It just wasn't my kind of book. I couldn't get into it at all. I kept going back to it and rereading the page.
I thought I would enjoy it more also but I honestly just didn't like it. I found the characters hard to relate too. Especially the male characters.
I truly don't like books set back in a period of time.
All I can is this book wasn't for me.
The writing itself was very well written and in a way easy to read, I just did not enjoy the story line.
I gave it a try because I am all for "don't judge a book by its cover" but after the first 100 pages I still found it a chore to read.
I felt it be better to give an honest opinion than to keep pushing through reading something that wasn't enjoyable for me.
