The Cruel Prince by Holly Black was probably the first fae, faery book.that I read and I loved it. The world building was just perfect and felt so magical.I
It was done by Holly Black in a really in-depth and unique way that conjured up a magical far world.
The characters were also amazing, I found myself being instantly hooked on this book and story. The only part that I don't really care for too much is the few times that the characters return to the human world. I would much prefer them to always be in the faery realm.
I am always really interested in the seelie and unseelie courts, I definitely prefer the unseelie courts myself, and they feature a lot in this book.
I also liked the fact that this book was not too long. I think that makes it a really quick and easy read. It's also a great first time fantasy book of you have not read the genre before
