“The Cruel Prince” in an amazing fantasy book written by Holly Black, and I can say that it is one of my favorite of all time.
The book is about Jude Duarte, a human that fights her way to acquire rights and social status inside the fairy realms, where she was dragged, along with her sisters, to live with the men that murdered her parents. The title of the book represents literally what the book is about, a cruel prince. Carden makes sure that Jude’s and her twin sister’s lives aren’t easy, and to always get his way.
I have read this book at least three times, and every time seems like the first.
The romance is so well written, and I love that it also includes de reality of our world in the mortal realms. I like that Jude is such a strong character and you can see how the change of worlds in her life affected her.
I would deffinitly recommend it to everyone.
