I could not put this book down. The author has created such a detailed and creative world that really brings the story to life. I love judes character. She’s very morally grey and her attitude it so entertaining to read. Through the book the writer had created a lot of tension between Jude and carden. The end of the book was a huge twist ( even though I probably should have guessed because of the title to the second book) im kind of sad that there isn’t anyway for Jude to become fae (so far anyway) because I feel like she would be such a badass fae, and I hate the thought of her aging and carden not. I also think that oak is the cutest little guy ever and I just want to give him a big hug and protect him from the evil world. I kind of want to see Jude putting madoc in prison or even executing him. He is such a manipulative character and I don’t trust him. Over all it’s an amazing book.
