This book is probably one of my all time favourite books. I got it on a whim during lockdown and ended up reading the entire series within a month. The characters are very well developed and Jude is an amazing character (even if she doesn’t have good morals), don’t even get me started on Carden because I could talk about him all day. He’s such a deep character and shrouded in mystery. The character relationships are really well thought out and you’re able to form a bond with the characters in the book. The world is incredible and when I read the book I felt like I was in the faerie world with Jude. The plot is easy to follow but not boring. You’re able to know what happening with plot twists everywhere. It’s so beautiful and when I finished the series I felt like something was missing. I hope that Holly Black comes out with another addition to the series and I will 100% be reading it.
