I LOVED this book.
I finally picked this book up after the insane amount of attention surrounding it all I can say is that this book deserved every ounce of it. Holly Blacks writing is just so addicting I COULD NOT put this down. I also really enjoyed how fast-paced this and all the other books in this series were, so if you are someone like me who gets bored easily when a book is slow-paced I definitely recommend giving this a try.
We follow our main character Jude who at 7 witnesses the death of her beloved parents and is later shortly whisked off to a magical world where faerie exist. The book then jumps 10 years ahead and we experience the troubles Jude and her sister Taryn face with the faerie specifically Cardan (brother to Balekin, Elowyn, Dain, Rhyia and Caelia Greenbriar ) the prince of Elfham and his gang of trouble makers valerian, nicasia and Locke.
