The very first page draws you into the whole book itself. There isn't one boring part or chapter. Nothing unnecessary or unneeded. It's a fabulous book which will entice you into the world of Faeries, magic and a royal family that is quite frankly very interesting. The protagonist, Jude is a human in this Faerie world. She longs to be known amongst them as equals, despite the consistent torment from no other than the cruel prince himself, Cardan. He, among his flock of fellow Faeries make it their duty to make Jude and her sister know how inferior they are to creatures like him. One reason why I love this book so much is because of Jude and her sheer spirit and her unwavering determination to prove herself as a fearsome member of the court. The plot and characters are very enjoyable and practically flawless. This book is definitely one you will not forget in a hurry, nor will it ever bore you. You shall love it so much, it will leave you with wanting more. Good thing that there is a sequel!!!
