What a fantastic read! I am so glad I claimed this book with my points (I would have been disappointed if I had missed out on this book).
The storyline was well written, everything weaving together to make the world of Faerie so vivid and magical. The descriptions were out of this world, it really immersed you as the reader. Also, Holly Black knows how to develop a likeable character. Jude, a human girl, bullied for her differences is thirsty to prove herself and you really route for her throughout the story.
The story flowed and never had a dull moment, I cannot wait for the sequel to find out what happens. This is the first of Holly Black's books I have read, but it has made me want to read more of her work. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to any fantasy lover.
Also, that beautiful cover deserves to be pride of place on the bookshelf!
