Although not my favourite genre, I was keen to read this book after the preview. I always hope to write a review without giving too much away, particularly important with this style of plot! I found the story engaging and for the most part relatable and credible. Of course there are the usual slightly unlikely scenarios, but credit to the author she kept my attention and I read the book in a few large chunks to keep the plot clear in my mind. There are lots of key characters, but no so many that I had to check back as to who was who.
The plot twists are not too obvious, there are lots of threads that join the characters and keep interest until the end.
I would recommend this book to anyone who hasn't yet read any books by Jane Creasey, it was my first.
