I really enjoyed reading "The Dark Room". It is a mystery that keeps you guessing and wanting to keep on reading. The book is written from the perspectives of Rachel, who works in television, and Caroline a crime reporter. For different reasons both women find themselves staying at Hare's Landing in Ireland. They soon discover they are embroiled in solving the same mystery... there are historical and recent suspicious deaths to investigate and at times Caroline suspects a supernatural element may be at play... I like how the two women's lives and the various different storylines in the book come together. I liked how the main characters are two strong females and Jasper the dog was a great character too! I really enjoyed this book but would recommend you don't start it unless you have lots of reading time ahead because you won't want to put it down!
