I quite enjoy the dark room and thought it had great potential. However I found it was slow paste and could of been better if was fast as lot stuff in the book didn’t have to be there. I felt the first 150 pages or so were quite boring and didn’t have lot going on. So parts of the first 150 pages were vital for rest of the story as link in. I enjoy the story and mystery surrounding the plot of what happened at that house I found was exiting and gripping. I was however her surprised by the ending of the book and was total shock. This book had great characters development and was very clear plot so was not confusing parts it all flowed together to make one good story/mystery. I love the dog (jasper) I found that add to book and make good so he keep barking so you wonder why it just add to whole mystery of the book. Over all I found the dark room very interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend this book to people who like crime solving mystery and don’t mind the slow paste of the book in the beginning.
