A very atmospheric setting that had me intrigued. I enjoyed how you learnt about the characters background and I was interested to find out how the would come together. Blake is very descriptive and had my attention straight away. This is the first book I have read by Sam Blake and I will certainly be checking out her other novels. This has been a very enjoyable read to relax too during the unsettling time we have had this year. I liked the fact that this was a standalone book so I could get to the conclusion at the end of the story. Thrillers are my go to genre and I think anyone interested in this genre would enjoy this book. Although you have two characters backgrounds to understand it was easy enough to follow and not complicated or confusing as we went on that journey of getting to know them and how they start to link together. An enjoyable read.
