This book has a great cover and looked to be very interesting. I won’t lie, I’m a bit disappointed. The plot starts off very strong and I thought the premise was very interesting, but in my opinion it fell through a bit.
The female lead is a great character. She’s intelligent and it’s great to follow her story through the ups and downs of this book. Her development is great, and this is one part of the book I genuinely enjoyed.
There are twists and turns all through the book, and while many of these revelations are good, some of them ultimately fall short.
The style of writing is pretty good, though not like some other authors that I enjoy. It’s easy to follow and the detail is very good, I enjoyed it.
Overall this is not a bad book at all. I think it was an evening spent well, I just do not think it is up to the current standard of similar books. I’d recommend this if you like this type of book.
