It takes about a quarter of the way through before the pace picks up and you can fully immerse yourself in the plot and characters. However, the book is a decent read for the most part.A well-executed plot with well-developed characters and well-thought-out twists and turns. Character growth was great, and it was exciting to see how relationships developed in the plot. The atmosphere is also enthralling and fitting for the storyline as well as the genre as a whole. The ending is the real standout for me; it really brought everything together.
