loved the book, it has great stories and very clear that you can imagine all of it in your head, there was one common thing in all the stories there was a part in the middle where the story dragged on or felt like it didn't go anywhere. However, the stories kept you drawn in to the book that you couldn't put it down and left you at the edge of your seat near the end so much that you want the author you make a whole 300 page book just off that story alone. You get drawn into the characters and you are cheering them on when they discover something new or running for the lives (the stories in this book all fall around war), your crying with them, and laughing. It's a great book there were parts that upset me, and I thought could have been better and longer but over all it was a good book i would recommend it to anyone you loves different stories with different characters especially during war time and about survival during war time. The second story in the book called "Lore" they just made a movie about it that is actually how I heard about this book in the first place after seeing the movie in this movie theater in Berlin, Germany while I was on a trip there for 3 months earlier this year so I would recommend anyone after reading this book to go see the movie and compare it. I will now definitely have to re-watch the movie since I just finished the books and compare notes! But again great book, great characters, great stories, and great author. I can't wait to read more from this author and see what's next for her!
