I enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down once Id got over the lull about a third of the way in. The characters I liked, the setting ace too, but I did find the clues a bit too obvious along the way.

I knew early doors that Ava was extremely suspicious, as did I figure out where the homeless dude Alfie Bows fit into the whole history of Hares Landing. It was fairly obvious that the overly friendly taxi driver was involved too as it kept gping back to him. The mention of the watch was just another thing that made me think ahhhhhhhhhh here we go again. That being said though, I really enjoyed reading the book and finding that my predictions were correct. I do tend to prefer to be outfoxed and flummoxed by the mysteries in the books.

I don't think I'd go looking for more books by this particular author to be completely honest, but this one wasn't bad at all.
