I forecast lots of red-herrings!

I'm a huge fan of John Grisham's books so a suggestion that Neil White's novel could appeal was an immediate draw, the descriptive blurb added to my interest .... all before I'd even read the first impression! Now that I have done so I'm convinced this is a book which would find me with my nose buried in it until I had got to the last page! It sounds as though Dan and Jayne will make a good team and I'd love to know more about their relationship. The self-confessed killer sounds an equally interesting character
so all the elements are there for a gripping psychological thriller!
