I am normally not the person to read a lot of historical fiction but I really liked this book. It may have taken me ages to get around to read this but once I did, I enjoyed it. I was very interested and impressed with the different narratives in this books. I am seeing more and more authors use different POV but I really loved the use of the different eras. The amount of drama and adventure was a great surprise too. I was finding it harder and harder to stop reading the further the characters went on in this novel. The writing was great but the characters were just brilliant.
I loved that the author was so visual with the different places travelled and the different era. It definitely helped me connected with the characters and storyline more.
All in all it was a great book with wonderful visualisation, brilliant characters and I loved the pace of the read.
