I absolutely loved this, I could not put it down and read it in one sitting - which is not like me at all. I usually find that I like to take my time with a book but not this one. I was captivated with the characters from the very beginning and when I thought I knew what was going to happen but no I was smacked in the face with a new revolution.
I loved how the characters grew and developed even in the historical elements of the story. I actually felt as if I had been transported into the story and was one of the characters. I loved the writing style of the author and can not wait to read more of their work. This has shown me that my love of historical thrillers is justified and that it is a genre which I will continue to read going forward. I have already recommended this to my local book club to use as one of their monthly books and passed on to family members to read
