So I really thought this would be a romance type of book but it surprised me by basically being a spy novel! It follows a grandma and her grandson going across Europe to try to find out what happened to people in her past when she was a spy for the Russians. At times the book was confusing, lots of nods towards communism and KGB that were a bit lost on me. Writing style was very easy to get into and overall I wanted to know how it ended.
I feel the front cover and tag line does not suit the book and that may need to be thought about.
I'm going to read more by this author as I enjoyed the style of writing and I do like a spy novel.
I'm not sure I enjoyed the ending, it felt rushed. One minute we thought it was one person who was the spy and literally the last chapter it was someone else!
