I have to admit that this book didn’t meet my expectations at all, I had high hopes but unfortunately it fell flat for me.
It started very slow and I struggled to get into it, I would say it wasn’t until Chapter 17 that I felt the story really started to evolve and this is when I changed my opinion, slightly.
The Main Character Ava is desperate to be liked, but in all fairness all of the Characters are just horrible people! I did not expect the ending at all, nor the events leading up to it - they were incredibly far fetched, but this grabbed at my interest as it was very twisted and full of red herrings.
I did however find the sightseeing during the 2 month gap study in Italy rather interesting. I have enjoyed visiting these places myself so it was pleasant to revisit them in my mind.
