This book has had me in a turmoil of emotions, so in one way it is an absolutely fabulously great book, but on the other hand! Well, the story is one of a girl who does not know who she is and does not know what she wants and tries to manipulate others around her to like her, include her. She wants to feel something that she is most definitely not.
Here was my first issue. I really did not like the main character at all. I found her to be pathetic and irksome and just plain vile on occasions. But clearly the author had meant it to be so, in my opinion, and therefore the writing is fantastic.
The other characters, seemed to have a different, easier life, but did they really? If you break down their stories, no not really.
This book left me thinking that we can never really know the way that others are living or feeling. Also, your actions and decisions may have consequences that you will never expect, good and bad.
What a great yet disappointing ending (only disappointing in that the characters involved managed to sink lower in my expectations)
