I wasn't keen on this as an extract and don't think I'd be too interested in reading the whole book as I felt nothing for the characters.
Despite the sad backstory of the victim and his sister, I didnt find any points to empathise with, and was left feeling cold.
Interesting premise, and would like to have got into it, particularly as the cover is gorgeous!
