It was good
This story centres around a man who is a rare book seller and specialist in detecting forgeries. He is also a forger himself. His brother in law is murdered by and it focuses on that and some letters that he receives adding an essence of mystery
The first line of “the never found his hands” hooked me completely and thought it was such a good opening line. I really enjoy books written about the book community and this one is written really well, such a unique style. I thought it was a bit slow at times however it was definitely a worthy read
The cover of the book is so beautiful however doesn’t really tell you much about the genre so I’m glad I discovered it via this website
I did not know where this story throughout however the ending was predictable and sort of anticlimactic. Would still recommend to read it though and appreciate a good book...
