The French Girl is my kind of book. It's a well-written thriller: not fast-paced (so far), but I quite like that in a novel. It reminded me of one of my favourite books by Barbara Vine.
The characters are interesting and they are portrayed very well. The striking cover would make me pick up this book in a shop, and I am very keen to read the rest of this story.
