Intrigued by this taut, sultry opening chapter

From the first line I knew that I loved this authors writing style- descriptive and eloquent, my attention was immediately captured and I could tell this was going to be an utterly compelling thriller. The tone is set for an atmospheric and toxic friendship noir. It is one of those plots that quickly draws you in, I mean we are introduced to Severine by her dead body... what on earth happened to her? Cleverly the storyline starts off strongly - leaving you hungry for more, so I sense this book would be one that you are anxious to keep reading as the mystery intrigues you and wills you to read on to discover the truth. This is definitely my kind of book vibe , dark and chilling with an intensity to it that is just the tone thriller lovers like myself crave in a novel.
The characters are well drawn and intriguing and I would be every interested to read on and review the book fully to my followers
