A real air of darkness and fear is conjured in minimal pages; a mysterious and captivating start. I'm left wanting to discover Liv's backstory and the trigger for her PTSD which has been awakened following the loss of her Mum. A very strong start and one I'll certainly read even if I don't win the draw!
