At first I wasn't sure about the book. There seemed to be a lot of dwelling on the history of Arden/Olivia Maynor.

I found the constant teaser of information about the past was irritating and I thought that the link between the past and the present would turn out to be really lame and predictable. Although some of my predictions were correct, I did not foresee the ending!

The characters were likeable mostly (the fact she keeps her husband in the dark annoyed the hell out me the entire way through the story however), the story was engaging and the suspense and mystery kept me reading and wanting more.

I'd definitely reccomend this book to fans of a mystery story. A bit hard going at first but then it really picks up and becomes unputdownable. Didn't see the ending coming at all and I love that about a story. Looking into this author's other work.
