After reading the first look here on readers first, I added this straight to my wishlist ready for publication date. I had such high hopes for this unique sounding thriller.
I was incredibly let down and dissapointed after finishing it. There were times when I considered putting it down and did not finishing it. But I was hopeful it would get better. It did not.
I found the plot convoluted and it was full of conveniences that didn't make sense
The main character just pissed me off and I wanted to be able to reach into the pages and give her a good shake.
I didn't believe that any of the twists could have actually happened and whilst a thriller doesn't need to be super relatable I do need it to be realistic. I want to be able to see my self in their shoes and be worried for them.
I just wasn't that into this book and I doubt Ill be reading anything else from her.
