This book was not really on my radar and I am glad I found it as it is one of the best thrillers I have read this year.

I like that it is centred around one character - Olivia Meyer, made famous as a child called Arden, swept away in a storm in the middle of the night after sleep walking outside. She was heroically rescued after three days in an underground pipe system. The incident brought media coverage, good and bad to the area of Widow Hills, everyone had a part to play in the story.

Twenty years on after a change of name and home, much of her anxieties remain and as the anniversary looms it is clear Widow Hills has not forgotten either.

She thinks she is safer after hearing about the death of her mother, someone who sold their stories at the time. So why is she being watched, notes appearing in her postbox. Who can she trust?

A brilliant read, twists and turns right up to the last page
